EPP Mold Manufacturer — Expanded Polypropylene Tooling
Shandong Wanrong Mould & Die manufactures EPP (expanded polypropylene) shape-moulding molds, including tooling used on Haier programmes. EPP tools run higher steam pressure and tighter venting than EPS tools, and the aluminium bodies are cast in Wanrong’s own foundry.
EPP is a different polymer from EPS. The mold looks similar and is not interchangeable: steam pressure, venting and dimensional accuracy are higher, and so is the cost of the tool.
We build EPP molds for structural appliance parts and for returnable packaging. Name the part and the press in the enquiry.
Where EPP tooling differs from EPS
EPP beads need more steam energy to fuse. The steam chamber, seals and vents are built for that. Copying an EPS tool onto an EPP press is how leaks and short-shots start.
How the mold is made here
Aluminium mold bodies are cast in our own foundry, then CNC-machined, assembled and trialled in the same plant. We do not buy in cast blanks.
What we need to quote
- Drawing, 3D file (STEP / IGES / DWG) or a photograph of the finished part
- Shape-moulding machine brand, model and platen size, if you already have a press
- Material to be moulded: EPS, EPP or lost-foam pattern
- Expected annual volume and number of cavities you want
- Destination country, so we can reply in your working hours

Send a drawing. We will come back with a tooling proposal.
A 2D drawing, a 3D file or a photograph of the finished part is enough to start. Name your shape-moulding machine if you already have one. We reply on business days, Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00 China Standard Time (UTC+8).
